Separately, Hospodarske Noviny wrote that the option of a direct sale of CSOB to another bank remained on the table. Deutsche Bank <DBKGn.DE> and BNP Paribas <BNPP.PA> are potential buyers. KBC said selling its Czech unit outright was nonsense.

ENIRONMENT MINISTER: Prime Minister Jan Fischer proposed that Agriculture Minister Jakub Sebesta should also lead the Environment Ministry until the May election after its minister, Jan Dusik, resigned.
