million euros to build a cement plant in Romania, daily Business

Banks are reluctant to finance residential projects and
funding conditions for developers have worsened, Milan Janku,

PKN ORLEN
The third-quarter net profit at Polish oil refiner PKN Orlen
<PKNA.WA> may be reduced by 200 million zlotys were the price of
oil and the dollar to stay at the current levels by the end of
this month, newspaper Parkiet reports citing calculations from
BRE Bank oil analyst Kamil Kliszcz.
KGHM
Erste Bank cut copper miner KGHM <KGHM.WA> to 'hold' from
'buy' and slashed its target price by 46 percent to 74 zlotys,
citing a 'significant' risk of a copper price slump.
PULAWY
Polish chemicals company Pulawy <PULW.WA> will pay out 82
million zlotys, or 4.3 zloty per share, in dividend for the
2007/2008 fiscal year, it said in a statement on Tuesday.

Italian bank UniCredit <CRDI.MI> agreed on Tuesday to buy a
4.1 percent stake in its Polish unit Pekao <BAPE.WA> from the

Cort as the new chief executive of its Hungarian subsidiary,
