EU-NORM INFLATION
The Statistics Office will publish February EU-norm inflation data, 0800 GMT. Analysts expected February consumer prices to rise by 0.1 percent on the month and fall 0.1 percent year-on-year.
JAN IND ORDERS -4.5 PCT M/M, +24.6 PCT Y/Y
Slovak new industrial orders jumped by 24.6 percent on the year in January, but fell by 4.5 percent on the month on a seasonally adjusted basis, the Statistics Office said on Monday.

SLOVAKIA SELLS EUR 145 MLN OF 119-DAY T-BILLS
Slovakia sold 145.0 million euros ($199.3 million) worth of 119-day Treasury bills at an auction on Monday, the finance ministry's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency said.

BIDS FOR SLOVAK-HUNGARY GAS LINK CAPACITY DUE MAY 31
Bratislava-based Eustream and the Hungarian transmission system operator FGSZ said on Monday they were launching the final phase for suppliers to book capacity on a new gas link between the two countries.

PM FICO SLAMS HUNGARY'S SOLYOM RHETORIC
Prime Minister Robert Fico criticised Hungary's President Laszlo Solyom for his remark that Hungarian minorities living in Slovakia and elsewhere should learn the country's language as a foreign one. Fico accused Solyom of violating Slovak sovereign rights.

ENVIRONMENT ON INTERBLUE GROUP EUROPE
The environment ministry said the new Interblue Group Europe failed to submit relevant information which verify it holds rights to sell Slovak excess carbon emission rights. An already non-existing U.S.-based Interblue Group held the rights before.
