INVESTORS MEET ETHNIC HUNGARIANS
Members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia will
meet with officials of the ethnic Hungarians (SMK), part of a
series of meeting will political parties ahead of the June 12
general election.
POLITICAL PARTIES MEET EU OFFICIALS
Senior officials of Slovakia's eight strongest political
parties will attend a meeting with the European Commission's
representatives in Slovakia to debate issues related to the
upcoming June general election.
HUNGARY PASSES CITIZENSHIP LAW, SLOVAKS RETALIATE
Hungary approved a law on Wednesday easing access to its
citizenship for over two million ethnic Hungarians living
elsewhere in central Europe, triggering legal retaliation by
neighbouring Slovakia.

MARCH CURRENT ACCOUNT DEFICIT 70 MLN EUROS
The Slovak current account showed a preliminary deficit of
70 million euros in March, down from a 215 million euro gap in
the same period of 2009, the central bank said on Wednesday.

OECD SEES RECOVERY TAKING HOLD IN E.EUROPE, ISRAEL
Emerging Europe will show a solid recovery in 2010 and
accelerate next year, the Organisation of Economic Cooperation
and Development said on Wednesday, although it said fiscal
consolidation was expected to weaken demand.

Share of outstanding mortgage loans, out of the entire loan
