PRESIDENT TO APPOINT NEW GOVT ON TUES: Czech President
Vaclav Klaus will appoint a centre-right government headed by
Prime Minister Petr Necas on July 13, he said on his website on
Wednesday, making way for major economic reforms planned by the
incoming cabinet.

HEALTHCARE: Czech parties building a coalition government
agreed on Wednesday to readjust fees in health care. Among
others, they agreed that cheap drugs such as Acylpyrin should
not be reimbursed from the public insurance and people should
pay for them. They also agreed to scrap a 30 crown ($1.48) fee
for every prescribed drug and pay a singe 30 crown fee for the
whole prescription.
