Erste cuts its price target for builder Polimex Mostostal
<MOSD.WA> to 5.70 zlotys from 7.20 zlotys and keeps a "hold"
rating.
PGNIG
Polish energy regulator will not rule on Tuesday to allow
the country's gas monopoly PGNiG <PGNI.WA> to raise gas prices
from the begining of next month, daily Gazeta Prawna reports
without giving sources.
FIAT
Italian carmaker Fiat <FIA.MI> eyes an investment in
Romania, Business Standard reports, quoting sources in the car
market. The value of the investment and a potential location
have not been decided yet.
COCA-COLA HBC ROMANIA
Coca-Cola HBC Romania, the local unit of Greek bottler
Coca-Cola HBC, said it would close its plant in the western city
of Oradea and move its production lines to other markets, Ziarul
Financiar reports.
PETROLINVEST
Kazakh investors will ultimately control around 40 percent
of Polish exploration venture Petrolinvest <PROL.WA>, with more
foreign investors in the cards, the company's chief executive
told Reuters on Monday. []
RICHTER, MERCK
Hungary's leading drug producer Richter Gedeon <GDRB.BU>
settled a patent lawsuit in the Budapest Metropolitan court with
Merck & Co <MRK.N> relating to the active ingredient alendronic
acid. []
HUNGARIAN PENSION FUNDS
Hungarian pension funds lost nearly 185 billion forints on
their investments in the first half, the financial supervisory
Pszáf announced, according to Nepszabadsag's Hungary Around the
Clock service.
EUROPEAN MARKETS
European stocks were seen falling sharply on Tuesday,
extending the previous session's 3.6 percent drop as investors
fret over the fate of U.S. insurer American International Group
Inc <AIG.N> after its debt was downgraded.
