Czech CEZ says raises 2007 net profit forecast

Czech power company CEZ said on Thursday it had raised its 2007 net profit forecast to 42.6 billion crowns ($2.33 billion) before minorities...

...from a previous estimate of 41.4 billion.

CEZ, the biggest central European company with market capitalisation of $44.9 billion, added in a statement that it expects 2008 net profit to rise to 46.6 billion crowns, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) would reach 85.5 billion crowns, just above market consensus of 84.94 billion, according to Reuters data.
