Shares in RM-System resume growth in thin trading

PRAGUE, Dec 20 (CTK) - Share prices in the off-exchange RM- System started to grow again on Tuesday but trading suffered from a very low investor interest with the exception of CEZ, RM-System said.

The PK 30 index of the top thirty shares added 0.37 percent to 2,345.65 points, the highest since the beginning of October.

Trading turnover amounted to Kc3.1m, while still in the third quarter the average daily turnover was at nearly Kc18m. Power utility CEZ accounted for two thirds of contracts and rose by 1.11 percent to Kc730.2.

Demand also prevailed with petrochemical group Unipetrol, which grew 0.88 percent to Kc229. Cesky Telecom closed 0.14 percent higher at Kc518, while Komercni banka shed 0.58 percent to Kc3,450.
