Prague, Dec 28 (CTK) - The Prague Stock Exchange (BCPP) today rose led by ECM, Unipetrol, and Zentiva, gaining more than 2 percent each, and the PX index added 0.79 percent to 1,582 points, which was 7.4 percent more than a year ago, the bourse said.

Zentiva put on 2.52 percent to Kc1,263 and ECM Real Estate Investments grew by 2.14 percent to Kc1,433.

Unipetrol rose by 2.15 percent to Kc232.3.

Power utility CEZ wiped out some of its recent losses and went up by 1.33 percent to Kc946.8. Demand for the stock was affected by the information that the newly formed coalition government would not plan or promote the construction of new nuclear power generators.

Share trading turnover was still a below-average Kc1.8bn, although it was Kc500m more than on Wednesday.
