HEADLINE INFLATION
The Statistics Office will publish November inflation data,
0800 GMT. Analysts forecast consumer prices rose by 0.1 percent
on the month and 4.7 percent on the year in November.
CORE INFLATION
The Statistics Office will publish November inflation data,
0800 GMT. Core inflation was forecast at 0.0 percent
month-on-month and 4.4 percent year-on-year.
OCT REAL AVERAGE IND WAGE -0.7 PCT Y/Y
The real average industrial wage in Slovakia fell by 0.7
percent year-on-year in October, compared with a 3.9 percent
increase in September, the Slovak Statistics Office said on
Wednesday.

Central bank Governor Ivan Sramko said current GDP growth
forecasts were on the optimistic side, adding the bank may
revise its forecasts again in the future.

CAPITAL INVESTMENTS
Economy Minister Lubomir Jahnatek is considering boosting
the share of investment of private pension funds into Slovak
assets due to financial crisis. The pension funds must currently
invest 30 percent into Slovak assets, and Jahnatek is

BANKS TO MEET FICO
Slovakia's banks are expected to meet Prime Minister Robert
Fico on Monday to debate bank fees. Fico has urged banks to
boost lending, threatening to tax profits from interest income
if they refuse.

CONSTRUCTION CARTEL
The Bratislava district court has revoked a fine of 1.35
billion crowns ($57.84 million) that the Anti-Monopoly Office
levied against six construction firms it had accused of a cartel
agreement.
