BRATISLAVA, Aug 16 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press
reports and events to watch which may affect Slovak financial
markets on Monday.
JULY EU-NORM INFLATION DATA
The Statistics Office will publish July EU-norm inflation
data, 0700 GMT.
Analysts polled by Reuters expected consumer prices to be
flat on the month putting and annual inflation rate at 0.8
percent.
BOND AUCTION
The finance ministry's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency
(ARDAL) will auction sic-year, 3.5 percent coupon state bonds.
It is the fifth tranche of the paper.
FINMIN ON WAGE, PAYROLL TAXES
The Finance Minister Ivan Miklos and Labour, Social Affairs
Minister Jozef Mihal will hold a news conference on planned
adjustments to the wage and payroll taxes system, designed to
boost the state budget revenues, 0900 GMT.
JUNE NEW INDUSTRIAL ORDERS
The Statistics Office will publish new industrial orders
data for June, 0700 GMT.
Q2 PRELIM GDP +1.2 PCT Q/Q, BEATS FCASTS
The Slovak economy expanded 1.2 percent in the second
quarter compared to the previous three months, more than
expected and up from 0.8 percent growth in the first quarter.

EURO ZONE HELPS EMERGING EU ECONOMIES, WORRIES REMAIN
Countries in the EU's eastern wing grew faster than expected
in the second quarter, clawing further out of deep contractions
last year and raising the prospect of slightly higher full year
growth.

FINMIN DELAYS BUDGET DRAFT
Finance Minister Ivan Miklos said will deliver the 2011
state budget draft to the government by Sept 30, instead of Aug
15, blaming former cabinet of Prime Minister Robert Fico for not
preparing a mid-term outlook which is now holding back the
budget preparations.

FLASH FLOODS KILL ONE
One person died one and one was missing in flash flooding
triggered by heavy storms in central Slovakia, a latest wave of
heavy rains and stormy winds which killed at least 15 people

GRAINS' CROP SEEN AT SEVEN-YEAR LOW
Slovakia's crop of grains should hit a seven-year low in
2010, the Food and Agriculture Chamber (SPPK) said, adding it
expected prices to rise. Potatoes should also come below
average.
