WARSAW, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press

TPSA
Poland's biggest telecoms group TPSA <TPSA.WA> reported a
slightly smaller-than-expected 2 percent net profit fall for the
third quarter as its sales also fell by 2 percent on mondated
cuts in mobile fees. []
The company's CEO sees little chance of sales growth next
year. []
PKO
The head of Poland's second-largest bank, state-controlled
PKO BP <PKOB.WA> does not expect that it would stop paying out a
dividend in the mid-to long-term, he tells Parkiet.
KGHM IN LAOS
Poland's copper miner KGHM <KGHM.WA> is in talks to gain the
right to explore for copper in Laos and is looking for partners
to buy deposits in Chile and Peru, company's Deputy Chief
Executive Herbert Wirth tells newspaper Puls Biznesu.
GAZPROM
Representatives of gas giant Gazprom <GAZP.MM> visit Romania
to meet officials from the finance ministry and state-owned gas
firms Transgaz <TGNM.BX> and Romgaz, as part of a wider tour in
the region, daily Business Standard reports.
HIDROELECTRICA
Romanian state-owned hydro power firm Hidroelectrica, the
largest local power producer, recorded a gross profit of 282
million lei ($94.47 million) in the first nine months, compared
with 58 million lei in the same period of last year, Business
Standard writes.

Broadcaster Central Euroean Media Enterprises
<CETV.O><> reports an unexpected drop in operating
income in the third quarter and loss of $0.35 per share.
EUROPEAN MARKETS
European stock index futures rose sharply on Wednesday,
after U.S. and Asian stocks soared and investors bet on a U.S.
rate cut later in the day.
Futures for the DJ Euro Stoxx 50 <STXEc1> and for France's
CAC <FCEc1> added about 5 percent, and for Germany's DAX
<.FDXc1> gained 3.4 percent.
