WARSAW, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press

ENEA
Utility Enea debuts on the Warsaw bourse on Monday,
completing Poland's largest initial public offering this year.
Individual and institutional investors signed up only for 10
million shares at 15.4 zlotys, despite a discount of over 20
percent compared to the 20.14 zlotys paid by Sweden's Vattenfall
to take a 19-percent stake. []
PKN ORLEN
Poland's top oil refiner PKN Orlen <PKNA.WA> mulls revising
its expansion plans in the Baltic states and may walk away from
the Latvian market, writes Gazeta Prawna.
MONBAT
Bulgarian battery producer Monbat <MONBAT.BB> bought back
some 143,000 of its shares between Oct. 27 and Nov. 13 at an
average price of 6.15 levs ($3.99) per share, Dnevnik writes.
POL-AQUA
Polish builer Pol-Aqua <PQAA.WA> scrapped its 2008 guidance
late on Friday, saying the global financial crisis and the
volatility on the currency market made it difficult to forecast
results. []
ASSECO POLAND
Eastern Europe's largest listed software maker Asseco Poland
<SOBK.WA> reported a 71 percent rise in third-quarter net
profit, ahead of market expectations thanks to a boost from
recent takeovers and organic growth. []
OTP
Hungary's OTP Bank <OTPB.BU> lowered its full-year net
profit outlook on the fallout from the global financial crisis
but said it did not need any new financing to support its
operations next year. []
EUROPEAN MARKETS
European stocks were seen retreating on Monday following
losses on Wall Street in the previous session after grim U.S.
data fuelled fears over consumer spending, while energy shares
could track crude lower.
Financial spreadbetters expected Britain's FTSE 100 <>
to open 15 to 42 points lower, Germany's DAX <> to open 20
to 40 points lower and France's CAC-40 <> to open 33 to 41
points lower.
