WARSAW, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press

AGORA
Polish publisher Agora <AGOD.WA> may have a net loss in the
fourth quarter after the company decided to write down the value
of its controversial purchase of Internet business Trader.com by
27.2 million zlotys ($8 million). []
TPSA
Poland's top telecoms group TPSA <TPSA.WA> may revise its
strategy and cut down on acquisition and foreign expansion plans
to be better off in times of global financial gloom, its board
member told Puls Biznesu. []
BIOTON
Polish businessmen Ryszard Krauze and Zygmunt Solorz-Zak
will take part in the planned rights issue by Poland's human
insulin maker Bioton <BOTN.WA>, Puls Biznesu said, citing an
unnamed source.
PKN
Lithuanian refinery Mazeikiu Nafta, owned by Polish oil
group PKN Orlen <PKNA.WA>, plans to shut down for a full
maintenance turnaround early in 2010. []
PETROM
Romania's top oil and gas firm Petrom <SNPP.BX> received a
five-year revolving credit line worth up to 500 million euros
from its owner, Austrian OMV <OMVV.VI>. []
PROCTER & GAMBLE
Consumer products maker Procter & Gamble <PG.N> will start
works on a $100 million plant in the central Romanian county of
Prahova in February, Gandul reports.
CORPORATE COMMERCIAL BANK
Bulgaria's Corporate Commercial Bank <CORP.BB> posted a net
profit of 40.3 million levs for 2008, up by 74 percent from a
year ago, Dnevnik writes.
TELEFONICA
Spain's Telefonica <TEF.MC> won a 350 million euro ($454.2
million) contract to provide services for logistics group DHL,
Telefonica's Czech unit said. []
EUROPEAN MARKETS
European stock index futures rose on Thursday, tracking
gains in the U.S. and Asia as positive earnings in the
technology sector helped buoy investor sentiment.
Futures for the DJ Eurostoxx 50 <STXEc1>, German DAX <FDXc1>
and French CAC futures <FCEc1> were up 2.3-2.8 percent.
