T-BILL AUCTION: The Finance Ministry is offering 7 billion
crowns worth of 13-week T-bills in a an aution. Bids are due by
1000 GMT.
CENTRAL BANK MEETING: The central bank board meets in a
session not devoted to monetary policy.

NWR COAL PRICES JUMP: Coal miner New World Resources
<NWRS.L> <NWRSsp.PR> said on Wednesday it had negotiated
significant rises in coke and coking coal prices for the third
quarter, sending its shares higher.
The company said in a statement it secured an average 17
percent hike in coking coal prices for the third quarter
compared with the previous three months of 2010 and a 42 percent
rise in coke prices.

STRONG BOND AUCTION: The Czech Finance Ministry sold a hefty
8.12 billion crowns worth of 9-year government bonds in
Wednesday's auction following strong investor demand for the
paper that had already seen its yield drop to a month low.

CEE FX: Hungary's forint firmed on Wednesday, dragging
other central European currencies to stronger levels, while
successful Polish and Czech bond tenders boosted investors'
appetite for their debt.
