WARSAW, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press

ITI Group has pledged its 52-percent stake in Poland's only
listed TV broadcaster TVN <TVNN.WA> to back a 320 million euro
loan, but does not face any related margin calls. []
CYFROWY POLSAT
Polish pay-TV operator Cyfrowy Polsat <CPSM.WA> will replace
developer Polnord <PNOR.WA> in the Warsaw's main WIG20 <>
index after the March 20 session. []
PGNIG, GAZPROM
Gazprom <GAZP.MM> is willing to negotiate an increase in
natural gas supplies to Poland to make up for gas that was
undelivered because of Russia's row with Ukraine last month, the
Polish gas monopoly PGNiG <PGNI.WA> said on Thursday.

Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma <SFARM.BB> posted a 4 percent
increase of sales in January year-on-year, writes Dnevnik.
LOT
Poland's national airline LOT [] likely plunged into a
500 million zloty loss last year due to hefty losses on hedging
the oil prices and may lay off 250 out of its 3,700 workers,
daily Rzeczpospolita reports without giving sources.
RAIFFEISEN
The Romanian unit of Raiffeisen Bank <RIBH.VI> plans to cut
its loan-deposit ratio from 120 percent to 100 percent, to
reduce its exposure to external financing, Ziarul Financiar
reports.
EUROPEAN MARKETS
European equities were set to open higher on Friday,
tracking gains in Asia and U.S. markets, with investors awaiting
a vote on a massive $900 billion U.S. stimulus bill and a key
jobs data.
Financial bookmakers in London predicted Britain's FTSE 100
index <> to open 24-26 points higher, Germany's DAX

gain 16-29 points.

WALL STREET
U.S. stocks rallied on Thursday on investor hopes that the
government's plan to shore up the financial system will include
a change in accounting rules that would stem bank write-downs
and spur lending.
Bank stocks reversed losses in late morning to lift the Dow
off its lowest level since the bear market low of Nov. 21.
