* WHAT: Czech third quarter GDP flash estimate
* WHEN: November 12 at 9.00 a.m. (0800GMT)
* REUTERS FORECAST: Czech third quarter gross domestic product median rise of 0.6 percent q/q vs 0.9 percent in Q2 2010, 2.5 percent yr/yr vs 2.4 percent in Q2, FY GDP median 2.0 percent. Eighteen analysts participated in the poll.
FACTORS TO WATCH: Czech gross domestic product is expected to expand year-on-year for the third quarter running after four contractions.
Quarter-on-quarter, it is seen rising for the fifth straight time, albeit more slowly than in the previous April-June quarter, due to weaker household consumption.
"We expect household consumption to have somewhat corrected its positive contribution to overall GDP growth after the better-than-expected performance observed in the first and the second quarter," said Radomir Jac, chief economist at Generali PPF Asset Management.
Imports rose faster than exports in the July-Sept period, which was partly thanks to a boom in solar power plant construction peaking in the second half due to generous government subsidies expiring at the end of this year.
But the solar boom also meant a substantial growth in investments, which offset the negative impact of high imports on the third quarter GDP reading.
Last week, the Czech central bank raised its outlook for this year's growth to 2.3 percent from 1.6 percent seen previously.
The bank expects the third quarter figure to be 2.7 percent year-on-year and 0.8 percent quarter-on-quarter, which analysts said was overly optimistic.
The bank also revised sharply down its outlook for 2011 growth to 1.2 percent from 1.8 percent, due to a government retrenchment. Analysts said that forecast was too pesimistic.
The downward revision was seen as one reason why the bank revised its timing for an expected rise in market rates, seen as proxy for policy rates, to late 2011.
Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Slovakia are also due to release their GDP flash estimates on Nov 12.
Detailed Czech GDP structure will be released on Dec 9.
