Unions will hold a protest meeting against government's
labour code changes in the eastern Slovak town of Michalovce,

SLOVAKS SELL EUR 153 MLN WORTH OF 161-DAY T-BILLS
Slovakia sold 152.9 million euros ($208.2 million) worth of
161-day treasury bills at an auction on Monday, the finance
ministry's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency (ARDAL) said.

Slovakia plans to amend its labour code to boost job market
flexibility and job creation and help bring down the euro zone
country's unemployment rate, the government said on Monday.

BANKS' PROFIT DOUBLES
Net profit of Slovakia-based banks jumped by more than 100
percent to 541 million euros ($742.9 million) last year, as
economic recovery lifted loans take-up and cut volume of
non-performing loans, the central bank data showed.

CSOB SELLS SLOVAK PENSION FUND
Czech bank CSOB said had agreed a sale of its Slovak private
pension fund, managing around 210 million euro worth of clients'
savings, to Slovak Postova Banka. The sale requires an approval
of the central bank and the anti-monopoly office.

AT&T TO CREATE 200 NEW JOBS
Slovak unit of the U.S telecommunication company AT&T <T.N>
will add 200 new jobs to already existing 1,000, in capital
Bratislava and eastern Slovak town Kosice.
