STEEL INDUDSTRY: Revenue in the Czech steel industry rose in the first half by 10.8 percent year on year to 47 billion crowns ($2.63 billion). Output more than doubled over the period. Last year, production in the sector shrank by more than 25 percent and steel companies showed a cumulative loss of 4.1 billion crowns.
