WARSAW, Jan 12 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press

GAS
Hungary expects to meet is gas needs on Monday mainly from
domestic resources and will maintain restrictions on some
industrial users, the gas transmission arm of oil and gas group
MOL <MOLB.BU> said in a statement. []
TARNOW
Exposure to currency options will cut between 10 and 20
million zlotys off 2008 net profit at Polish chemical maker ZA
Tarnow <ATTP.WA>, but the company will meet its target of 73.9
million, Parkiet quotes Tarnow CEO as saying.
BANK MILLENNIUM
Polish lender Bank Millennium <BIGW.WA>, unit of Portugal's
Millennium bcp <BCP.LS> will present its new strategy when it
reports its fourth-quarter results on February 12, its spokesman
tells Parkiet.
POLISH INVESTMENTS ABROAD
Polish companies invested about 1.8 billion euros abroad
last year, 20 percent more than in 2007, Rzeczpospolita reports.
The newspaper also said the value of mergers and acquisitions
fell to 4.7 billion euros in Poland last year, by almost half
from the previous year.
DACIA
Romanian carmaker Dacia, owned by France's Renault
<RENA.PA>, said its sales rose 11.7 percent in 2008 to over
257,000 units, helped by exports which have offset a slowdown
local sales, Ziarul Financiar reported.
POLISH BANKS
Poland's central bank will buy back bonds worth nearly 8
billion zlotys ($2.7 billion) from commercial banks early to
help increase credit supply, newspapers reported on Saturday.

European bourses Nasdaq-OMX <NDAQ.O>, LSE <LSE.L> and the
Deutsche Boerse <DB1Gn.DE> may be interested in buying the
Warsaw Stock Exchange, the treasury minister told Parkiet.
