COURT SNUBS FINE AGAINST BANKS
Bratislava's district court snubbed a 10.2 million euro fine against VUB, Slovak unit of Intesa SanPaolo <ISP.MI>, CSOB, unit of KBC <KBC.BR> and Slovenska Sporitelna, unit of Erste Group <ERST.VI>, imposed by the Anti-Monopoly Office for an alleged cartel agreement against a Czech company Akcenta.

Labour and Social Affairs Minister Jozef Mihal decided not to draft and propose a cap number of employees hired through personal leasing. The ministry considered a 10 percent limit, out of a total number of workers.

BRUSSELS INVESTIGATES ELECTRONIC ROAD TOLL SYSTEM
The European Commission had identified a violation of rules of public procurement and asked Slovakia to provide explanation and details on 852 million euro electronic road toll system. This winning bid was, however, the most expensive proposal.
