Hungary's OTP Bank <OTPB.BU> lowered its full-year net
profit outlook on the fallout from the global financial crisis
and reported an 11 percent drop in third-quarter net profit on

KGHM
The net profit at Europe's largest copper miner KGHM
<KGHM.WA> fell 38 percent on tumbling copper prices, but came in
ahead of market expectations, it said on Friday, beating market
expectations of a 50 percent drop. []
AGORA
Agora <AGOD.WA> Chief Executive Marek Sowa, who promised to
lessen the Polish media group's reliance on newspaper
publishing, resigned on Wednesday after it released
disappointing third-quarter results. []
ECM
Closely-held ECM Group launched a bid on Friday to take
private its listed affiliate ECM Real Estate Investments

FHB
Hungarian mortgage bank FHB <FHBK.BU> reported a 21.3

carrier CSA which is slated for sale in the coming months, Mlada

Romania's largest oil firm Petrom <SNPP.BX> controlled by
Austria's OMV <OMVV.VI>, shut activity at its Arpechim
refinery's pyrolisis unit, following plans by a client to reduce

ALRO
Romania's Alro Slatina <ALRO.BX>, one of Europe's largest
aluminium smelters, reported a 22 percent fall in nine-month
earnings on Friday. []
EUROPEAN MARKETS
European shares were poised to jump on Friday, snapping a
three-day losing streak, as the market was seen tracking a sharp
rally on Wall Street after the S&P 500 and Nasdaq indices
