                                 CEE MARKETS: Central European currencies extended losses on
Friday, and equities and bonds also fell after growing concern
over Ukraine sovereign debt heightened already rising risk
aversion to emerging assets.

                                 NEW MOBILE OPERATOR: The Czech Telecommunication Bureau
plans to call a tender in the first quarter of 2010 to choose a
fourth mobile operator.

                                 SCRAP SUBSIDY: Social Democrat leader Bohuslav Sobotka said
there was no urgent need to launch the "cash-for-clunkers"
scheme in the Czech Republic if the market continues to develop
as so far. The Social Democrats were the strongest supporters of
the scheme and their votes enabled its passage in the lower
house of the Parliament.

                                 VW IN RUSSIA: Volkswagen <VOWG.DE> has sold much fewer
vehicles in Russia than planned due to a drop in demand caused
by an economic downturn, head of VW's Russian branch Martin
