SDKU BOARD MEETING
The strongest centre-right party SDKU, whose election leader
Iveta Radicova is expected to become the prime minister, will
hold a board meeting to debate current coalition talks on
forming of the government.
GUANTANAMO DETAINEES IN SLOVAKIA ENTER HUNGER STRIKE
Three detainees, who were sent to Slovakia from the U.S.
military prison at Guantanamo Bay in January, went on hunger
strike on Thursday, Amnesty International Slovakia reported.

NEW GOVERNMENT WITH 15 MINISTERS
The new government, formed by centre right parties, will
have 15 ministers. The strongest SDKU party of future Prime
Minister Iveta Radicova, will get five, Freedom and Solidarity
(SaS) four, and booth the Christian Democrats (KDH) and mostly
ethnic Hungarian Most-Hid will get three ministries.

COMMISSION TAKES SLOVAKS TO COURT
The European Commission has referred Slovakia to EU's Court
of Justivce over award of legal services contract for motorway
construction projects. It considered Slovaks have breached EU
public procurement rules by not opening up a contract for legal
services relating to motorway construction projects.
