BRATISLAVA, May 27 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press

COALITION MEETING
Leaders of the three ruling coalition parties will meet to
debate the fate of the Special Court designed to deal with
organised crime and corruption, 0630 GMT.
GOVERNMENT MEETING
Government will hold its regular weekly meeting, 0800 GMT.
PM ON ECONOMY
Prime Minister Robert Fico will address an international
conference on global economy, 1530 GMT.
MARCH CURRENT ACCOUNT DEFICIT 158 MLN EUROS
Slovakia's current account showed a preliminary deficit of
158 million euros ($220.7 million) in March, compared with a
revised 79 million euro gap in February, the central bank said
on Tuesday.

SPECIAL COURT
Prime Minister Robert Fico has proposed changing the name of
the Special Court, strengthening its powers and abolishing
security clearance for judges following last week's rulling by
the Constitutional Court that the Special Court was
unconstitutional.

Marek Madaric, Vice-Chairman of Prime Minister Robert Fico's
SMER party, said he would talk to opposition SDKU's leader
Mikulas Dzurinda about possible coalition cooperation after 2010
general election. Fico said would not negotiate with Dzurinda.

FUEL PRICES TO RISE
Prices of petrol fuels will rise by 2.5 euro-cents per litre
as of Wednesday, rising for the third consecutive month. Diesel
fuels prices will stay flat.

GEOX CONSIDERING SHUTTING PLANT
Italy's shoe-maker <GEO.MI> Geox is considering closing its
plant in Slovakia and cutting 471 jobs. Geox declined to
comment.

NO RETAIL BONDS
The finance ministry said no retail bonds were planned in
the near future, adding they the ministry would prefer selling
treasury bills.
