extended an options agreement with Czech power company CEZ

CEZ IN KOSOVO: Kosovo will scale back plans for a
long-delayed 2,000 megawatt coal-fired power plant due to lack
of interest from foreign investors, the country's minister of
Energy and Mining told Reuters on Friday.

CEZ IN ROMANIA: Czech power group CEZ <CEZPspPR> said on
Friday it has taken full ownership of two Romanian distrubutors
after it agreed with Romania's Electrica SA to buy the remaining
19 percent stake in the pair for 145.36 million euros ($214.2
million).

CEE MARKETS: Central European currencies weakened on
Friday, led by the Polish zloty, on fears that Latvia's woes
might weigh on the region, but the reaction was much milder
than in June when the crisis last flared.

BUDGET MAY BE BETTER: Finance Minister Eduard Janota said
estimates for economic output are nearing zero, better than the
0.5 percent contraction seen in the 2010 budget draft, so the
budget gap may be lower than the 163 billion crowns already set.

ORCO RESTRUCTURING: Some bondholders in Orco Property Group
<ORCO.PA> <> balked at receiving shares in the real
estate group as part of a debt restructuring plan, killing the
deal, CEO Jean-Francois Ott said.
He said the group still had a six-month creditor protection
so was under no time pressure for a deal, and that the group
would negotiate more with potential investor Colony Capital.

CSA HELP: Czech Airlines (CSA) supervisory board chief
Vaclav Novak is likely to request 3 billion czech crowns in
state aid for the airline, according to sources.
The paper said that CSA president Radomir Lasak has a
restructuring plan that does not count on state aid; the finance
ministr has already ruled out state aid.
