BOND AUCTION
The finance ministry's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency
(ARDAL) will auction six-year, 3.5 percent-coupon state bonds.

SAS NEWS CONFERENCE ON PLANS
The liberal right-wing Freedom and Solidarity (SaS), which
will be the third strongest in the parliament, based on June 12
election result, will hold a news conference on its plans,
agenda.
PRESIDENT GASPAROVIC MEETS PM FICO
President Ivan Gasparovic was expected to meet with Prime
Minister Robert Fico and ask him to try to form a government,
following SMER's victory in Saturday's election. Fico's chances
were slim as centre-right parties won majority.
RIGHT WINS VOTE, SET TO OUST LEFTIST PM
Centre-right parties won a majority in Slovakia's election
at the weekend and looked set to oust Prime Minister Robert Fico
with a coalition focused on cutting the budget gap and mending
ties with neighbour Hungary.
