Czech television channel TV Nova, owned by broadcaster CME
<>, plans to raise 2009 advertising prices by 20
percent, daily E15 reports, citing unnamed sources.
ZENTIVA
Belviport Trading Ltd., a closely held company which holds a
10.06 percent stake in Czech drug maker Zentiva <> and
whose owners remain anonymous, is owned by Czech businessman
Pavel Tykac, daily Mlada Fronta Dnes reports.
Tykac has no strategic plans with his stake and plans to
sell it, the daily writes, citing unnamed sources.
VOESTALPINE
Romania's government and Austrian steel maker Voestalpine
<VOES.VI> signed a memorandum of understanding to build a Black
Sea steel plant with an expected outlay of 5-7 billion euros.
DEUTSCHE BANK
Germany's Deutsche Bank <DBKGn.DE> plans to finance Romanian
companies eager to build wind power plants having capacities of
50 to 100 megawatts, Ziarul Financiar writes.
GETIN
Getin Holding <GETI.WA> owner Leszek Czarnecki has no plans
to sell any of his companies and will not float the financial
group's international arm for now due to stock market slump, he
tells Dziennik.
PKO,OTP
Hungary's OTP Bank <OTPB.BU> and Polish peer PKO BP
<PKOB.WA> are negotiating to establish closer ties, both sides
said on Wednesday, but denied a report that any deal would
involve a transfer of equity. []
PKN
Poland's largest chemical company Ciech <CECH.WA> wants to
team up with two state-controlled fertiliser makers to bid for a
chemical unit of oil refiner PKN Orlen <PKNA.WA>, its chief
executive said. []
PKN may cut investments and jobs at its Mazeikiu refinery
unless Lithuanian government agrees to give up control over
Klaipedos oil <KNF1L.VL> terminal, its chief executive said.

European index futures pointed to a weaker open on Thursday
as economic worries offset the impact of a positive vote from
the U.S. Senate for a $700 billion financial sector bailout
package.
