Citroen Slovakia to debate the company's future plans in
Slovakia, 1230 GMT.
ECB'S SRAMKO:ECON IMPROVES BUT SUSTAINABILITY UNCLEAR
The euro zone economy is stabilising but questions remain on
the sustainability of the recovery, European Central Bank
Governing Council member Ivan Sramko said on Tuesday.

Slovak cbank sees econ falling 5.6 pct in 2009
The Slovak central bank downgraded the country's gross
domestic product outlook on Tuesday to a forecast contraction of
5.6 percent this year, compared with a previously expected 4.2
percent drop.

SLOVAKS TO BOOST AFGHAN MISSION
Slovakia plans to send more soldiers, combat troops, to
Afghanistan next year, a source from defense ministry said, to
strengthen its ISAF participation. Slovaks so far operates
mostly military trainees and support.

Council of broadcasting and retransmission said TV debate of
Prime Minister Robert Fico in May violated law, due to absence
of an opposition counterpart or partner. The council said the
debate lacked objectivity and fairness.

The finance ministry's intention to introduce a duty on
bottles' stopper could cut, significantly, suply of high-profile
alcohol products, retailers and distributors warned. Local media
reported one Slovak distillery has initiated the draft law.

RYANAIR DARNS SKYEUROPE DROP-PUT IN SLOVAKIA
Ryanair <RYA.I>, Europe's biggest low cost airline,
announced opening of three new routes from Slovak capital
Bratislava, Paris, Rome and Liverpool, in a step aimed to fill
in place after the stricken SkyEurope airlines.
