WARSAW, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press

TPSA
Phone group <TPSA.WA> will offer financial services such as
loans and credit cards from the start of next year,
Rzeczpospolita quotes its chief as saying.
TOYOTA IN POLAND
Toyota <7203.T> plans to build car accessories factory in
southwest Poland. The investment is estimated at 30 million
euros, Rzeczpospolita writes.
WIZZ AIR
Wizz Air, a leading budget airline in eastern and central
Europe, plans to double transport capacity in Romania by
bringing three new Airbus A320 planes for Timisoara, Bucharest
and Cluj-Napoca airports, and launching 15 new routes in the
next 6 months, writes Bursa.
NASPERS
South Africa-based media company Naspers <NPNJn.J> buys
online auction site Vatera.hu to add to its Internet holdings in
central and eastern Europe, index.hu reports.
KOMERCNI
Czech Komercni Banka <> expects profits to continue
rising in the second half despite an economic slowdown and the
global financial crisis, its chief executive tells Reuters.

MCDONALD'S
Fast food giant McDonald's Corp <MCD.N> will speed up its
expansion drive in central and eastern Europe to tap into the
region's vibrant growth and increasingly affluent middle class,
its No. 2 official said. []
EUROPEAN MARKETS
European index futures pointed to a higher open on Friday,
with investors' focus remaining on a $700 billion bailout plan
for the U.S. financial sector.
U.S. House majority leader Steny Hoyer said the bill will be
sent to the floor of the House on Friday for debate and then put
to a vote. Earlier, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she would
not schedule the floor debate until she thought there were
enough votes in hand to pass it.

WALL STREET
U.S. stocks slid on Thursday as tight credit markets and
bleak economic data forced investors to focus on the rocky road
still ahead for the U.S. economy even if Congress passes a $700
billion rescue package this week.
The Dow shed more than 3 percent while the S&P 500 and
Nasdaq dropped 4 percent as Wall Street worried the economy may
slide into recession, further cutting into corporate profits.
