BRATISLAVA, April 9 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press

markets on Thursday.
FEBRUARY INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT
The Statistics Office will publish February industrial
output data, 0700 GMT. Analysts surveyed by Reuters expected
industrial output to fall by 18.5 percent on an annual basis in
February.
FEBRUARY FOREIGN TRADE
The Statistics Office will publish February foreign trade
data, 0700 GMT. The market had expected a trade deficit of 180
million euro in February according to a Reuters poll taken
earlier this month.
BONDS AUCTIONS
The finance ministry's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency
will auction the 8-year 4.2 percent state bonds, and the 4-year,
3.5 percent state bonds.
SLOVAKIA AIMS FOR FISCAL GAP BELOW EU LIMIT
The Slovak government aims to keep the fiscal deficit under
the European Union's limit this year despite a worsening
economic outlook for the euro zone newcomer, Finance Minister
Jan Pociatek said on Wednesday.

SLOVAK POLICE TO PUNISH OFFICERS FOR ABUSE OF ROMA
The head of the Slovak police force said on Wednesday he
would demand the dismissal of at least six officers after video
footage showed police officers abusing a group of Roma boys in
eastern Slovakia.
