Prague, Dec 1 (CTK) - The Prague Stock Exchange (BCPP) today stagnated, not following the growth of the world markets, its headline PX index closing at 1,117.4 points, up by mere 0.08 percent, according to data from the bourse.

The main reason lies in losses posted by the power producer CEZ and Komercni banka which were compensated by gains recorded by Erste Bank and the phone operator Telefonica O2.

CEZ lost nearly 0.6 percent to Kc865 and Komercni banka almost 2 percent to Kc3,730.

Erste Bank put on 1 percent to Kc722.50 and Telefonica O2 firmed by 1.43 percent to Kc426.

The main world share markets grew mainly thanks to the fact that fears of problems in Dubai have subsided and investors started to feel like risking again, Josef Nemy of Komercni banka said.
