PARLIAMENT ON CRISIS
The parliament will continue an extraordinary session on measures against economic crisis. The agenda includes legislative changes needed to implement the 332 million euro package designed to preserve jobs and boost domestic demand.
REGULAR GOVERNMENT MEETING
Government will hold its regular weekly meeting. The cabinet is scheduled to debate a report on implementation of measures against economic crisis.
PM TO MEET EMPLOYERS ON CRISIS
Prime Minister Robert Fico will sign a memorandum with employer associations on cooperation in tackling economic crisis.
SLOVAKS SEEK EU CONSENT ON AID FOR U.S. STEEL UNIT
Slovakia is seeking European Union consent for its plan to include a United States Steel Corp <X.N> factory in a programme designed to preserve jobs in businesses hit by the global economic crisis, Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Tuesday.

FICO AGAINST SOFTER EURO CRITERIA
Prime Minister Robert Fico does not support loosening of conditions for future applicants for euro zone membership. He said, however, the inflation criterion should be adjusted because it is too strict for countries with higher economic growth.
